Gwen Stefani is fascinating. She has been a member of the band No Doubt since they met in high school and began playing music in their garage. Following the success of the FOX musical television series “Glee,” producers Ryan Murphy and Dante Di Loreto signed as executive producers for Oxygen’s upcoming Glee reality spin-off, “The Glee Project.”

The aims to provide talent for the show “Glee,” which is now on its second season. The upcoming reality series was stormed by more than 40,000 applications, many of which coming from stage actors and movie actors. The producers will select the winner and will be given a seven-episode story arc on Glee.

Reports said that “The Glee Project” will premiere some time in June 2011 and will have 10 episodes.

The awards for the 36th Metro Manila Film Festival-Philippines (2010) was held last December 26, 2010 at the Meralco Theater in Ortigas Avenue, Pasig City. The Gabi ng Parangal was attended by stars, Metro Manila Mayors and the Metro Manila Development Authority Chairman Francis Tolentino.

Now on its 36th year, the Metro Manila Film Festival-Philippines is an annual film festival organized by the Metro Manila Development Authority in partnership with the 17 mayors of Metro Manila.

Despite all the legal issues regarding Willie Revillame’s transfer to the Kapatid network, his upcoming primetime television show, “Willing Willie” is still set to premiere on October 23.

“Willing Willie” had its soft launching last Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at the World Trade Center where advertisers and members of the media were given a sneak peek of the upcoming TV5 primetime show.

Willie Revillame will also be joined by co-hosts Mo Twister, Sandra Seifert and Isabel Oli.

“Mahal namin kayong lahat! Tuluy-tuloy ang saya, tuluy-tuloy ang pag-asa sa TV5!” Willie said in his closing remarks.

Revillame’s “Willing Willie” will premiere on Saturday, October 23, 2010, 6:30pm at the Kapatid Network, TV5.

This is a very sad day for me and for all “Ugly Betty” fans worldwide.

Entertainment Weekly’s Michael Ausiello reported that ABC has cancelled the hit television series “Ugly Betty” and that the fourth season would be its last. ABC also trimmed the plan 22 episodes of Ugly Betty’s fourth season to just 20 episodes.

I knew this was coming. But, “Ugly Betty” is one of the few US television series that I really watch. Ugly Betty would be airing it’s 13th episode next Wednesday, February 3, 2010.

I’m wondering how the writers will wrap the show in just seven episodes.

“We’ve mutually come to the difficult decision to make this Ugly Betty’s final season, and are announcing now as we want to allow the show ample time to write a satisfying conclusion. We are extremely proud of this groundbreaking series, and felt it was important to give the fans a proper farewell,” said ABC President Steve McPherson and Executive Producer Silvio Horta in a joint statement.

Oh, no. This is really heartbreaking. I’ll miss the Suarez and the Mode people. Where’s Gio, by the way?
