Atlantis Productions the production company behind “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” has recently announced the rerun of the Tony Award winning musical starting Friday, July 3, 2009.

“The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” is a hilarious tale of overachievers’ angst that chronicles the experience of six adolescent outsiders vying for the spelling championship of a lifetime. Through the course of the competition, they learn that winning isn’t everything and that losing doesn’t necessarily make you a loser.

The Manila run of the Tony Award winning musical will be starred by the country’s finest musical theatre performers including Joel Trinidad, Cathy Azanza, Carla Guevarra-Laforteza, Felix Rivera, Rycharde Everley, Noel Rayos, Thea Tadiar Everley, Johan dela Fuente, and Pheona Baranda.

The regular run of the Broadway musical is still on going at the Carlos P. Romulo Auditorium, RCBC Plaza up to April 4.

SPELLING BEE is a hilarious tale of overachievers’ angst that chronicles the experience of six adolescent outsiders vying for the spelling championship of a lifetime.
