A friend of the “Mean Girl” star, Lindsay Lohan has shared with PEOPLE Magazine that Lohan and Samantha Ronson are still talking despite their break-up last weekend.
“Sam and Lindsay are speaking,” the source tells PEOPLE. “But Sam has begged Lindsay to get help.”
The source also said that the actress is “heartbroken.”
“Lindsay, despite appearances, is insecure and has relied on Samantha and their relationship to build her up,” added the actress’ friend.
“Lindsay barely sleeps, which explains a lot of her behavior. She’s exhausted. She can’t even sit down for a minute without pacing around the room. It’s really sad.”
Since their break-up in Los Angeles, Lohan has kept busy partying.
Lohan said Monday last week that they’re taking a brief break so she can focus with herself.
PEOPLE Magazine also reported that Lohan posted a couple of messages on her private Twitter page that Ronson’s infidelity and drug use are the cause of their break-up. In one of her “tweets” the actress wrote, “You broke my heart. Now go away. I loved you.”
