ABS-CBN Broadcast journalist Korina Sanchez and Philippine Senator Mar Roxas exchanged marital vows at the Sto. Domingo Church in Quezon City, Philippines. The much-awaited ceremony started at 4:00 in the afternoon and was witnessed by famous personalities in the Philippines.
Hundreds of fans and supporters of the couple also took part in the ceremony by watching the exchange of “I dos” through the video walls situated around the church’s compound.
Korina Sanchez is wearing a serpentina-style Filipiniana gown by renowned designer Pepito Albert while Mar Roxas wears a traditional barong by Randy Ortiz. A white cloth held by ushers blocked Korina’s view, which prevented people around the church’s compound from seeing the bride until the start of the bridal march. Korina Sanchez walked down the aisle as the Manila Symphony Orchestra played Ray An Fuentes’ Umagang Kay Ganda.
Sponsors and guests wore Filipiniana attires. White roses and sampaguita, Korina Sanchez’s favorite flowers, adorned the Sto. Domingo Church.

There will be no grand reception after the ceremony as the couple decided to donate the money to 6 charity organizations providing assistance to victims of typhoons “Ondoy” and “Pepeng.” Instead, the couple is set to meet with their guests in the church’s courtyard where food and refreshments will be served.
More than 200 police have been deployed in the area to maintain peace and order.
