Ai-ai delas Alas
(UPDATE) Ai-ai delas Alas, host of ABS-CBN’s morning show, “Ruffa and Ai” was hospitalized after complaining of stomach pains. She is currently confined at the FEU-NRMF Hospital in Quezon City.
“May lagnat ako and ‘yong dati kong sakit sa tiyan and stress,” the actress-comedienne said.
The actress-host also said that she currently being monitored by her doctors. She also shared that she’s in a low-fat diet as per her doctor’s orders. Dr. Lerie V. Cham of FEU-NRMF Hospital said that acute pyelonephrinitis and acute gastritis are the possible cause of the stomach pains the actress-host is experiencing.
“Hindi masyadong pwedeng (kumain). Pero ‘yong fruits, pwede, huwag lang masyadong acidic,” she said. The actress-tv host suspected that the raw food she had eaten during her stay in Japan might have triggered her stomachaches.
Charlene Gonzales is currently taking care of Ai-ai’s hosting chores in “Ruffa and Ai” while the latter is still recovering.
Reports said that Ai-ai delas Alas might return to work this Monday, March 16, 2009.
