Francis Magalona
(UPDATE) Close friends, colleagues and relatives of the late Francis Magalona gather late tonight for the latter’s necrological rites at the Christ the King Church in Greenmeadows, Quezon City that started at around 10:00pm. A mass was celebrated at 9:00pm where Regine Velasquez and Gary Velasquez sang.
Malou Choa-Fagar, Executive Vice-President of TAPE Incorporated; Michael V.; his friends Leo Riingen and Gerry Sabado from the Camera Club of the Philippines; his sisters; his children – Unna, Nick, Maxene, Frank Jr., Saab, Elmo, Arkin and Clara; and Pia Magalona, her wife are expected to give eulogy.
Fans and supporters who weren’t able to get inside the Christ the King Church, camped outside while watching the necrological services through the big LCD screen situated just outside the church.
Remains of the TV host-rapper are expected to be brought at La Funeraria Paz in Quezon City for cremation at midnight. While at 9:00am of Wednesday, March 11, 2009, the remains will be brought back to the Christ the King Church in Greenmeadows for a final mass and blessing.
The ashes of the host-rapper would then be finally laid to rest at the Loyola Memorial Park in Marikina City.
