On GMA Network’s 24 Oras Pia Arroyo, wife of the late rapper and TV host Francis Magalona announced to the public the schedule of her late husband’s wake. The remains of the rapper / TV host will be open for public viewing starting tomorrow, March 7, 2009 until Tuesday, March 10 from 6am to 6pm at the Christ the King Church in Greenmeadows, Quezon City.
Instead of sending in flowers and Mass cards, Pia requested that fans and supporters send in cash and blood donations to the Philippine National Red Cross (PNRC). It is the PNRC that helped the King of Pinoy Rap in his treatment.
Pia assured the public that she is doing fine and will avoid on-cam interviews from now. She and her mother is busy doing the necessary preparations right now for the late Francis Magalona’s wake tomorrow morning.
The rapper and TV host died noon of March 6, 2009 after months of battling with leukemia at The Medical City, Mandaluyong City.
