GMA-7 talent Angelika dela Cruz gave birth to a baby boy through caesarian section last Friday, March 20, 2009 at around 10:00 am, the Philippine Entertainment Portal reported. She and husband Orion Casareo decided to name their first child Gabriel “Gabby.”
When asked how it feels to be a first-time mom, Angelika said, “Naku, ang sarap! Ang sarap-sarap pala! Sobra!”
“He [Gabby] is a big baby. Kagagaling ko lang sa nursery kanina. Pinuntahan namin siya ni Orion, binuhat namin siya. Ang cute! Ang cute-cute! Ang puti-puti,” Angelika added.
The couple hasn’t decided on a specific date for their son’s baptism.
“Yes, yung binyag kasi paplanuhin pa namin. Pero siguro mga three to four months from now. Tapos yung church wedding kasi namin, inaayos pa namin, so December 4,” Angelika said.
The actress is set to do two television series with GMA-7.
