MANILA, Philippines–Singer David Archuleta, 18, an “Idol” runner-up, performs in a back-to-back concert with David Cook, 26, at SM Mall of Asia open-air grounds in Manila on May 16, 2009. Cook an 2008 American Idol reality series Season 7 Champion and runner-up Archuleta is in Manila for a one-night only concert.

Love these guys together! They are soooo cute together, It is really cool to watch how much they love each other.
archuleta is a masterclass vocalist, and a class act all the way. he even vlogged hours after the concert to thank the filipino fans for their love and support…… how many stars of his caliber care enough, or are humble and gracious enough to take the time after such a huge show to thank the fans for their support?
this speaks volumes about his character, and whether or not you like his music, one cannot deny he is a rare soul in the ego driven and self centeredness common in the industry.
he is a bona fide star, and is deserving of all the attention and praise he is garnering internationally, and in the united states. am looking forward to watching him continue to blossom and mature into an artist of lasting renown and staying power.
Manilafan…I agree with you 100% . He is amazing. I was so impressed with how fast he put up that thank you vlog. He was in awe of the people there. He never thought about himself. He even included David Cook in his thank you. This young man is so different than any other young teenage singer. He is worthly of all the praise and attention. He never seeks it but it will come to him. His voice has me hooked for lif life.
I am not a teenager. He really does have more fans than just teens.
david archuleta and david cook are really both good and excellent in music.. they really possess a high standard of appeal and overall charisma that everyone would like to have…..

no douth that manila was really shouting and claping their hands and waving for the two multi-talented and handsome guys……
